# A company is trading under a name similar to ours — what you should know

We want our customers, and anyone searching for us, to be able to tell quickly whether they are dealing with us. This note explains a name similarity we have become aware of, and how to be sure you are dealing with the genuine Credicorp and Credit Corp brands.

## Who we are

The Credicorp and Credit Corp brands are owned by **Credicorp Limited** ([company number 16093826](https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/16093826)) and **CM Beyer Limited** ([company number 17009212](https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/17009212)), proprietors of the UK registered trade marks [UK00004156742](https://trademarks.ipo.gov.uk/ipo-tmcase/page/Results/1/UK00004156742) (Credicorp) and [UK00004379570](https://trademarks.ipo.gov.uk/ipo-tmcase/page/Results/1/UK00004379570) (Creditcorp). Both marks are registered and in force. The group trades under the name **Credit Corp**.

Any other website, business, application or account using the name Credicorp or Credit Corp is not us, and is not the genuine Credicorp or Credit Corp.

## What has happened

A separate company is operating under a name similar to our registered brand. It is **Credit Corp Financial Services (UK) Limited** ([company number 10480946](https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/10480946)), which trades under the name "Wallet Wizard" at walletwizard.co.uk.

It is a separate, unconnected business. It is not part of our group, and it is not connected with, endorsed by or authorised by us. We do not operate it, and we do not operate the Wallet Wizard website. If you have dealt with that business, you have not dealt with us.

## What we are doing

We have formal steps in progress to protect our registered trade marks and to require that the confusingly similar company name is changed. This is underway as at 26 July 2026. We cannot comment further while it is ongoing, and we will update this page.

## How to be sure you are dealing with us

- **Check the registered company name and number.** Any UK lender should show its registered company name and number, and you can look these up for free on [Companies House](https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/). Ours are Credicorp Limited (16093826) and CM Beyer Limited (17009212).
- **Verify a regulated lender on the FCA Register.** You can verify any regulated lender, and the contact details it should be using, on the [FCA Register](https://register.fca.org.uk/). A reference number on its own is not proof — open the full record and check that the details match the business you are actually dealing with.
- **"Wallet Wizard" and Credit Corp Financial Services (UK) Limited (10480946) are not us.** If you are dealing with that name, that website or that company, you are not dealing with Credicorp or Credit Corp.
- **If in doubt, contact us.** Email [legal@credicorp.co.uk](mailto:legal@credicorp.co.uk) and we will help you confirm whether something is genuinely ours.

This notice states facts about the ownership of our registered trade marks and the separateness of the businesses concerned. It makes no comment on the conduct, standing or regulatory status of any other business, each of which is responsible for its own affairs.
